Nordic Semiconductor's Swag Portal

For Nordic Semiconductor, we have launched an internal webshop, also called the "Swag Portal". Built on Medusa, the webshop is accessible to more than 1,500 employees worldwide. It’s especially important to a select group of employees who require branded clothing and uniforms for trade shows and events, but the product range also includes merchandise such as pens, mugs, and t-shirts.

Purchases on the Swag Portal are managed through allocated points, distributed based on employee roles and responsibilities within the company.

Curtis Foodservice Equipment - B2B Commerce

To support better self-service options to their customers, Curtis were looking for a flexible commerce platform and a partner to do the implementation.

Curtis selected Medusa as its core commerce platform, leveraging Medusa Cloud for backend hosting and Vercel for frontend hosting. The decision to choose Medusa was driven by its flexibility, ease of customization, open-source licensing, and modern tech stack.

This flexibility was essential as Curtis aimed beyond a standard B2B portal, incorporating project-planning tools to simplify complex kitchen projects and optimize customer deliveries.

The platform supports essential B2B functionalities, including invoice management and ACH payments, significantly more common in B2B transactions than traditional credit cards. Curtis also utilizes Medusa’s built-in quoting functionality, streamlining quote management for customers.

Contentstack’s Visual Builder Integration: Alphas Solutions integrated Contentstack’s Visual Builder with Medusa’s storefront, allowing users to:

• Create and manage sections of the site in Contentstack.
• Leverage the visual builder tools to drag and drop blocks, edit, and preview in the CMS.
• Medusa App Integration: With the Medusa app for Contentstack, users can search and fetch products from Medusa and display them in a field in their content type.

• An “accelerator” on top of Medusa: This gives you a significantly shorter timeframe from the start of a project to go-live - without compromising on creating the right solution for you.

• Relewise Search Plugin
• Rules Notification Provider: A MedusaJS notification provider that forwards notifications based on rules. In development, it can override the recipient based on a regex pattern.
