Bloom Features Highlights

This week, we launched Bloom, an AI-powered assistant with deep commerce expertise that helps you build and manage custom commerce experiences using natural language.

With Bloom, you can turn your ideas into a webshop with a few prompts. Bloom runs on Medusa, so you already have Medusa’s powerful commerce features baked in. You can use Bloom to build a unique customer experience tailored to your brand.

Bloom comes with many features, from making design changes based on screenshots to building essential commerce features. These features will help you build a webshop that can start accepting new orders in a matter of hours.

Feature Highlights

Design from Images

You’ll often have an image of what you want something to look like. It could be an image from a Figma design, or an inspiration from another website.

With Bloom, you can upload your image and ask Bloom to make the changes in that image. Bloom will extract the design changes necessary and apply them to your storefront.

Import Products from URLs

If your products already live somewhere online, or you’re recreating your commerce store, you can give Bloom URLs of products to create.

You can specify URLs to product listing pages, or to single product pages. Bloom will extract commerce information like title, description, price, and images, and add that product to your Bloom store.

Make Direct Edits with Selection Mode

In Selection Mode, you can make direct edits to text on your storefront. You don’t have to instruct Bloom of every change you want to make. You have full control over your storefront and its content.

Selection Mode also allows you to select specific elements to reference in your message to Bloom. For example, you can reference a specific button and ask Bloom to make changes to its design.

Build Commerce Features

Bloom is a commerce expert. It can implement important commerce features like adding new currencies to your store, providing free shipping options, or offering a discount to first-time customers.

Even with a minimal description of the commerce feature you want to add, Bloom will build all the changes necessary in the storefront, backend, and admin to build that feature.

Restore Changes

Changes you make with Bloom aren’t detrimental. Bloom allows you to revert to a previous change you made in your conversation at any point. You can seamlessly move between changes in your conversation to settle on the version of your store that you like.

Responsive View

Your commerce store should be optimized for customers on smaller devices, allowing them to seamlessly place their order.

Bloom allows you to view your webshop on smaller devices. With this view, you can make changes and fixes that would provide your customers on mobile devices with a better user experience.

Perform Admin Operations

Bloom also gives you access to your admin dashboard. You can log into the admin dashboard and manage your store’s data like products, promotions, multi-currency support, and more.

The changes you make in the admin will immediately be reflected in your storefront. You can switch back and forth between your storefront and admin as you build your commerce store.
