New Cloud Changelog

The Medusa Cloud documentation now has a curated changelog for Cloud, so that you have one place to check out all changes we ship to Medusa Cloud.

What the changelog covers

The new changelog lists the notable changes that went live in the dashboard, listed by date, with the newest change first. Use it to stay up to date on:

• New functionality, such as a new page, setting, or action.
• Changed behavior, such as a new default, validation, or limit.
• New or removed form inputs, including what the input controls.
• Design and navigation changes, such as a restructured page or a moved action.

Medusa Cloud's other surfaces keep their own changelogs that you can refer to for changes in them:

How it works

This changelog is part of our wider work on keeping documentation up to date with agentic automation, which we wrote about in Up-to-Date Docs with Agentic Automation.

Every Cloud dashboard deployment sends the descriptions of its changes to the open-source repository. A GitHub Actions workflow turns that payload into a prompt that carries our documentation style rules, the changelog's inclusion criteria, and the structure each entry has to follow.

Claude Code then updates the Cloud pages affected by the deployment, and adds a dated entry to the changelog with an overview of the changes. The result is opened as a pull request. Our team reviews and merges it, so every entry is checked by a person before it goes live.
