At Medusa, we are transforming modern commerce with our open-source platform, renowned globally for its flexibility and developer-first approach. In just three years, we’ve become the world’s most popular open-source ecommerce platform, secured one of Denmark’s largest tech seed rounds, and partnered with enterprises like Heineken, Mitsubishi, and Viessmann.

We’re looking for a Business Analyst interested in working on the intersection between technology and business to support our commercial growth. You will work closely with our co-founder and COO, Nick—an experienced ex-McKinsey consultant—who will mentor you as you navigate this entrepreneurial journey.

What will you do

On a daily basis, you will work on a wide variety of tasks related to the company's commercial and go-to-market activities — although we do not expect you to have experience in all these areas before starting. Your tasks will include:

  • Managing sales metrics and financials overview
  • Overseeing and optimizing our CRM system
  • Support in writing compelling user stories about our customers
  • Developing investor- and sales-related material
  • Automate and improve sales workflows
  • Leading various mini-projects, such as rethinking our partnership program

Given our product’s focus on developers, you’ll also have the opportunity to explore its technical architecture and setup if that interests you.

Ideally, you are pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and have experience working at the intersection of technology and business. Additionally, we expect that you:

  • are analytical with strong problem-solving skills

  • are well-organized and punctual
  • take ownership and is motivated to drive impact
  • are fluent in verbal and written English communication

Big plus if you:

  • have experience in software development/computer science
  • have experience with Excel and Google Sheets
