medusa-events-webhooks

medusa-events-webhooks is a plugin for Medusa.js that allows you to call webhooks on various events such as order, order-edit, payment, customer, and cart. This plugin is designed to make it easy to register webhook URLs and handle event-driven actions in your Medusa.js projects.

Installation

Install the plugin using npm:

Usage

Registering Webhooks

To add a webhook using the webhook events screen in the Medusa admin dashboard, follow these steps:

1. Add a Webhook

Use the webhook events screen in the admin dashboard to add a new webhook.
Upon creation, an access key will be generated.
This access key should be included in the headers of each webhook request.

2. Edit and Save Events

After creating the webhook, edit the events you want to trigger the webhook.
Save the selected events to ensure the webhook triggers correctly.

3. Active Flag

The Copy to clipboardactive flag controls whether the webhook should be called.
Ensure this flag is set to Copy to clipboardtrue to enable webhook calls.

Webhook Payload
