Announcing Configura and Uncut starters in Bloom

Since launching Bloom, teams have been able to move from idea to production faster than ever. Some have even launched fully working ecommerce setups in just two weeks.

Bloom makes this possible by letting you build and customize your commerce setup using natural language. Starters push that speed even further.

Today, we are adding two new starters to the library, introducing more specialized foundations for specific commerce use cases.

Configura: A product configurator starter

Configura is a starter designed for brands that sell customizable products.

It includes a built-in product configurator that lets customers configure products directly on the storefront. As customers select different options, the product configuration and total price update dynamically.

The configurator is powered by a custom module in the Admin dashboard, where you can create and manage configurators for any product. This allows you to define different configuration flows depending on what each product requires.

To set up a configurator, you:

1. Select the base product
2. Create configuration steps (for example choosing a base or finish)
3. Add product components for all available options

Once configured, the storefront adapts automatically based on the structure you defined.

Like all Bloom starters, Configura remains fully customizable, allowing you to extend the configuration logic or adapt the storefront experience using Bloom.

Uncut: DTC brand starter

Uncut is a product-centered starter built for brands that want to put their products and story front and center.

The storefront uses large visuals and bold layouts to showcase products in detail. It also includes dedicated sections that allow you to share your brand story, highlight product information, and create a strong narrative around what you sell.

While the starter works well for consumer goods, the structure can easily be adapted to any other product-driven brand.
