Versions 2.15.5 through 2.17.1 are out
Four releases were shipped with several new features and improvements:
- Provider-agnostic auth verification: Require verification per actor type and provider, with pluggable code providers.
- Multi-shipping-method carts: Add multiple shipping methods across different shipping profiles for split shipments.
- Tax Line Context Hook: Customize tax calculation context for complex scenarios with the new Copy to clipboard
setTaxLineContexthook. - New admin injection zones: Use new zones for draft order, gift card, and store credit account pages, plus custom injection zones in UI routes.
Aside from that, we shipped several bigger features, such as Global Product Options, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and the ESLint Plugin, which you can learn about in the next sections.

Global Product Options
One of our most-requested features is now live. Global Product Options lets you create reusable options, manage their values centrally, and filter products by shared options on the storefront.

Multi-Factor Authentication
Medusa now supports multi-factor authentication, giving your admin users an additional layer of account security out of the box. See the documentation for setup instructions.

Medusa ESLint Plugin: Add guardrails to AI agents
The new Medusa ESLint plugin adds linting rules designed to catch common mistakes made by AI coding agents, keeping your codebase consistent and your customizations on solid ground.

New prompts for the Medusa MCP
Our MCP server now includes built-in prompts that guide AI agents step-by-step through integrating payment and fulfillment providers, and extending products.

Nine new community integrations
We added nine new contributions to our Integration Directory, including POS API endpoints with context-calculated pricing, a visual flow builder for store automations, and several new payment and notification integrations.
